As a litigator, Peter is a focused and passionate advocate for his clients. Peter has first-chaired over fifteen trials -- civil and criminal, bench and jury -- all with successful verdicts. Peter has also settled many cases with great results for his clients, including several seven-figure settlements of medical malpractice and other major tort cases.
Peter feels strongly about about the need for well-drafted estate planning documents as a means of avoiding the types of family disputes and probate lawsuits that he has encountered as a litigator and mediator. To this end, Peter assists individuals and families with basic estate planning matters, including the preparation of wills, living trusts, durable powers of attorney and advanced health care directives. Peter also has substantial experience with probate and trust administration matters, including service as probate counsel to the executors of decedents' estates, and counsel to successor trustees of testamentary trusts.
